Ingredients
Wings:
- 500g chicken wings
- 1 tsp garlic granules
- 1 tsp chilli flakes
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp chinese 5 spice
Gochujang Sauce:
- 100g gochujang
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp garlic granules
Garnish:
- 1 tsp black and white sesame seeds
- freshly chopped spring onions
Ingredients
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the chicken wings, garlic granules, chili flakes, onion powder, and Chinese 5 spice. Toss the wings to coat them evenly with the seasonings.
- Place the seasoned chicken wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they are not overcrowded.
- Air fry at 200 degrees Celsius for 15-20 minutes, turning them halfway through the cooking time, until the wings are crispy and cooked through. Cooking time may vary depending on your air fryer model, so keep an eye on them.
- While the wings are cooking, prepare the Gochujang sauce. In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the gochujang, honey, soy sauce, and garlic granules. Stir until the sauce is well mixed and heated through. Remove it from the heat.
- Once the wings are done cooking, transfer them to a large mixing bowl.
- Pour the prepared Gochujang sauce over the cooked wings and toss them to coat evenly.
Garnish and Serve:
- Sprinkle the wings with black and white sesame seeds and freshly chopped spring onions for garnish.
