Ingredients

Chicken Katsu:

2 chicken breast

2 sachets of panko breadcrumbs

1 tsp salt, pepper and garlic granules

2 eggs


Curry:

1 large onion

2 carrots

2 1/2 Golden Curry blocks

salt, pepper, chilli flakes, and garlic to taste

Instructions

  1. Cut 3/4 of your chicken in half lengthwise to flatten your chicken breast. This will help it cook faster.
  2. Dip chicken in eggs and coat completely in flour.
  3. Heat your oil to 175 degrees celsius and fry the chicken until golden brown.
  4. Once cooked all chicken has been fried and set aside.
  5. In a frying pan, fry your carrots and peppers until softened.
  6. For your sauce combine all ingredients together aside from the cornstarch slurry
  7. Once the sauce is bubbling add half of your cornstarch slurry and keep adding for your desired thickness.
  8. Add fried chicken and make sure to coat the chicken in the sauce.
  9. Enjoy :)
