Your journey to a Turkish-inspired feast begins right in your kitchen!

  • 500g lamb mince
  • 50g fresh mint, chopped
  • 1 large brown onion
  • 50ml whole milk
  • 50g harissa paste

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the lamb mince, chopped fresh mint, finely chopped yellow onion, whole milk, and harissa paste.
  3. Mix the ingredients thoroughly until well combined.
  4. Take a handful of the mixture and shape it into kebabs or patties. You can use skewers if you prefer.
  5. Place a wire rack on a baking sheet.
  6. Arrange the kebabs on the wire rack and bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the kebabs are cooked through. Make sure to turn them halfway through cooking.
  7. If serving with flatbreads, halfway through cooking, place flatbread underneath the kebabs on the wire rack. This will allow the flatbread to soak up the flavorful lamb juices.
  8. Once the kebabs are cooked and the flatbread is infused with the lamb juices, remove them from the oven.
  9. Serve the Harissa Mint Lamb Kebabs with the soaked flatbread or rice and salad.
