Ingredients
Wings:
- 500g wings
- 1 tsp garlic granules
- 1 tsp onion granules
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp oil
Rum BBQ Sauce
- 5 tbsp bbq sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 tsp sesame seeds
- 1 tsp chilli flakes
- 1 tsp garlic puree
- 2 tbsp dark rum

Marinate the Wings:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the garlic granules, onion granules, paprika, black pepper, baking powder, and oil.
- Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss them to coat evenly with the seasoning mixture. Let them marinate for about 15 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.
Cook the Wings:
- Place the marinated chicken wings in the preheated air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
- Air fry the wings at 200 degrees Celsius for 15-20 minutes, turning them halfway through the cooking time, until they are crispy and cooked through. Cooking time may vary depending on your air fryer model, so keep an eye on them.
Prepare the Rum BBQ Sauce:
- While the wings are cooking, prepare the Rum BBQ Sauce. In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the barbecue sauce, honey, sesame seeds, chili flakes, garlic puree, and dark rum.
- Stir the sauce constantly until it's heated through and slightly thickened. Remove it from the heat.
Coat the Wings:
- Once the wings are done cooking, transfer them to a large bowl.
